- About Me
- I am 63 years young and I live with my husband and our little cat, Cuddles in Florida. We have lived here for two years and I am finally getting adjusted to being away from family and friends. I do go home for Christmas and for one week in the summer.
I was an educator for 30 years in the Baltimore County Public Schools. I taught 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades. At the end of my career I was an elementary guidance counselor.
While I was working in the school system I also had a part time job with Town and Country Apartments where I worked for 8 years. In 1997 I left that company and went with The Keelty Company where I started working part time and then when I retired from the school system, I worked there full time for 8 years.
I mert my husband in 2002 and in 2003 we were married and shortly thereafter we moved to Florida. I do go back to Maryland for Christmas and for a week in the summer. Also my friends and family come to visit us in Florida so that is ver y nice. I have a wonderful family and very caring and supportive friends. I have to say though that the love of my life is my husband, Bob. He is a very kind and gentle soul and is full of wisdom. I, on the other hand, am very fun loving and spontaneous so together we make a nice blend.
I also think that because we were older when we got married, it was a little easier for us to adjust. I had already retired from being an educator and Bob retired after a few years and then we moved to Florida.
